Senior Finance Manager
A well established fully integrated property group is looking to add an experienced Finance Manager to their property function. The role will report into the Head Of Finance and have responsibility for 2 accountants responsible for the timely delivery of the financial and management accounting and reporting in relation to the growing property portfolio.
Some of the key responsibilities will include;
Financial Reporting;
- Managing the external reporting processes through the each of the key phases of the Group’s financial reporting calendar.
- Planning: Manage the planning reporting requirements including Audit Committee correspondence, the establishment of work plans, external audit timetables and agreeing pro-forma financial statements.
- Preparation: Develop and maintain divisional reporting packs
- Consolidation: Manage the consolidation and preparation process of the statutory accounts as required by external reporting obligations including preparation of a financial statements and reference file.
Management Reporting;
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Management Reporting
- Cashflow Reporting
- Systems and Process Improvement
- Projects / Ad hoc requests
A successful candidate will have experience within a similar reporting role within the property space and would be an ideal second role post practice for the right candidate. Key areas of role are to support the Front office teams in their activities, oversight of property asset managers (internal external) and the ongoing review of the current accounting policies. Due to the nature of the role a candidate will need to be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders both internally and externally to the business.
Candidates will likely be CA qualified with strong property experience, with strong and some supervisory/management experience.
