Senior Finance Manager, Compensation & Reward
Our client, a world-class banking and financial services corporation, is looking to engage a qualified accountant to join their Group Reward function as a senior Finance Manager on a permanent basis and improve existing compensation accounting processes. You will be accountable for reviewing, analysing and challenging HR data on a Global scale in order to drive forward and implement appropriate metrics for financial reporting purposes and achieve better granularity of information.
Key accountabilities include:
· Core ownership of the variable pay accounting/accruals process and interpreting changing reporting requirements to facilitate the design of MI as necessary for Regional CFOs and facing off to additional senior stakeholders
· Actively participating in the implementation of new Reward reporting and control requirements as well as upgrades to new reporting systems as necessary
· Reviewing and accounting for any changes to reward structures and interpreting the results into meaningful MI
· Providing support and guidance to Group and Regional MI teams, as well as Finance teams across divisions and Group and Senior Management at Board level
· Line management responsibility and development for 2 FTEs in the existing team
This role would suit a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with an existing track record at VP level in Compensation and Reward accounting control from a blue-chip business. All round financial control and management reporting exposure is absolutely essential, along with an excellent understanding of accounting for variable pay, as well as compensation reporting on a large scale.
