UK Financial Controller
This is a very exciting opportunity to progress your career by taking on a broad and varied UK Financial Controller position in a large, forward thinking international law firm. The finance team in this firm work very closely with the partners and wider business to really add value and have a direct impact on continuing to grow profitability.
My client is looking for a driven Financial Controller with an in depth understanding of how professional services firms work. You will be given ownership of all aspects of financial management and reporting, work closely with the managers of the transactional finance teams to drive efficiencies and provide insightful planning and analysis to support strategic decisions.
The role will also give you the opportunity to lead a high performing, multi-layered team and gain fantastic exposure to partners while working alongside the firms Finance Director, Group Financial Controller and other Regional FC's. The firm is proud of it's open door policy which has created an excellent environment to work in. With a number of exciting projects planned for finance, the person in this role will play a key part in a number of these relating to system and process improvements.
I am therefore looking for a chartered accountant (ACA or CA) who has in depth knowledge of financial management and control in a professional services firm or LLP. Aside from your technical and practical experience, I will be looking for someone with drive, confidence and the ability to think commercially when presenting to members of the senior management team.
