Senior Finance Officer (Gas Trading) Energy Exploration & Trading
The successful candidate will work closely with the Front Office as it develops the European Gas Trading strategy. The Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for all planning, forecasting and analysis relating to the business unit. They will act as an interface between Trading and Accounting; communicating financial results. The successful candidate will possess strong technical accounting (IFRS) skills and be able to advise commercial staff on accounting treatments for new deals.
This role will require extensive interaction with Front, Middle and Back Office staff. It will also involve a degree of systems focused project work. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to demonstrate excellent commercial knowledge preferably from and Oil and Gas perspective.
Applicants must hold a relevant account qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
