Job Description
As an integral part of the Financial Accounting team, supporting both the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer, you will work with this fantastic team and play an integral role in meeting the financial and reporting obligations of this dynamic and growing business. Specifically, you will be involved with the preparation of the half year and full year accounts, cash flow forecasting, preparation of month end management reports and the preparation of BAS returns. You will be involved with internal reporting such as budgeting, trend analysis and weekly sales updates as well as have the opportunity to be involved with systems and process review and development and ensuring "best practice" accounting and reporting is implemented across the department.
The Successful Applicant
CA/CPA qualified, you will have proven experience within either a medium/large corporate or Chartered Accounting environment. A team player, you will possess a strong technical skillset in conjunction with excellent communication and presentation skills. Additionally, you will have a proactive, enthusiastic approach to your work and the ability and ambition to support senior stakeholders whilst being a mentor and support to more junior members of the team. step Candidates with previous Property / Construction sector experience will be favorably regarded.
