The analyst has worldwide responsibility for financial analysis, reporting and business decision support for the Control and Visualization Software business (CVB).

The analyst is responsible for the financial report preparation and analyses of monthly actual results with comparisons to the Forecast, Plan and Prior Year.

The analyst also completes or assists in completing the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) BSR (Business Strategy Review) financials, recommends and initiates the implementation of value added process improvements, and engages in broad-based analyses and studies related to the business.

The analyst also assists CVB's Manager of Financial Planning Analysis with consolidation of Business Unit-level reporting.

This includes submission of US journal entries, margin reporting, balance sheet reviews, and distribution of the month-end packages.

Complete all FPA support for the Control and Visualization Software business CVS including BSR, AOP, Quarterly Forecast, Monthly Close and Analysis, Reporting, and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.

This includes base software sales along with more detailed financial review of information software and ISaGRAF financials.

Complete revenue recognition accounting for software licenses and toolkit sales.

Complete royalty accounting and analysis.

Complete software capitalization entries and analysis.

Compile reporting for balance sheet reviews.

Identify and implement process improvements, assist in ensuring an adequate control environment.

BBA or BS in Finance or Accounting.

At least five years relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.

Desired Qualifications:

Good accounting foundation. Some shared services experience is a plus.

Strong budgeting, analysis and reporting skills.

Strong interpersonal skills, independent problem resolution, and follow-through.

Intermediate-to-advanced skills in use of SAP, Hyperion.

Strong personal computer (MS Office Excel, PowerPoint).
