Job Description
For our client, FABORY Group in Tilburg, we are looking for an (Senior) Financial Controller.
The Financial Controller reports to the Group accounting controller and will be responsible for consolidation and group reporting of financial and non financial key data for the FABORY Group.
The Financial Controller also safeguards accounting practices throughout the group of FABORY.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Verification and consolidation of the balance sheet and PL of the Fabory Group on a monthly basis
- Drafting and reporting of balance sheet, PL account and cash flows on company and group level
- Preparation of group results for Fabory management and Grainger group consolidation according Dutch and US Gaap
- Monitor the application/ implementation of the group accounting manual
- Coordinate the year end closing and preparation of the statutory accounts on local and group level
- Safeguard bridge between statutory accounts and group accounts
- Financial support to the budget and forecast process
- Maintain and coordinate the consolidation application
- Support to local financial staff on group reporting and local accounting
- Oversee SOX 404 in Finance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Finance, Business Economics, SPD or Accounting (RA)
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience of which 5 in Accounting or Controlling
- Internationally orientated, preferably distribution background
- Excellent analytical skills, hands- on, strong personality, result oriented
- Fluent English both written and verbally
- Knowledge of SAP R3
