Harrington Starr is working with a Financial Trading Firm to find a Senior Flex Developer to work on the front end development of a Trading System that is used across Tier 1 institutions in the City and across Europe.
As the Senior Flex Developer (AIR, LCDS, Flex 4, AS3) you will be working on creating bespoke front ends for a Fixed Income Trading system that will go live on client site. You will need to have a strong understanding of Flex version 4 and be able to create designs to a high end specification. You will be one of 4 developers that will the form the core of the Flex development team within the Trading Firm. You will need to be able to interact with clients and talk to them on a regular basis to gather specifications and ensure that your designs are meeting the requirements.
This firm have grown considerably over the last 1 year and have signed up another 5 Investment Banking clients at the start of the year, which have increased the work load considerably. You will work closely with the CTO and will be able to progress within the firm to eventually run a team.
As the Senior Flex Developer (AIR, LCDS, Flex 4, AS3) you will need:
* Strong experience of Flex version 4 development - Essential
* Experience with the Adobe AIR suite of products - Highly Beneficial
* Experience either working closely with User Interface designers or creating your own designs - Highly Beneficial
* Knowledge of Blazeds or LCDS - Beneficial
* Financial Services Experience - Beneficial
