Senior Flex Developer - Hong Kong or Singapore
My client is a Silicon Valley Venture Capital-funded brokerage based in Hong Kong, Singapore and the US. It is the world's first financial technology platform based purely in the cloud. What this means is that their geographically diverse portfolio of clients can access a cutting-edge cloud-based brokerage system from anywhere in the world. Whilst the securities and futures trading platform is my client's main product, they have also recently released a website which offers stock ratings generated by combining hard market data with common sentiment algorithmically extracted from social media websites.
What my client needs now is a skilled Flash/Flex developer to focus on the front end of their Securities and Futures trading platform. If you are particularly strong in Flash and Flex front-end development (preferably with 5 years + experience) and have a real passion to code, this could be an inspirational opportunity for you to work on bleeding-edge greenfield development projects. Aside from your technical prowess, you need to have an innate passion for problem-solving.
Useful technical abilities for this role:
*Minimum 5 years of Flash/Flex enterprise development experience on major Flash RIA
*Mastery of ActionScript 3.0 and object oriented programming
*Experience creating dynamic Flash applications that use XML and server side technologies, including an understanding of XSD/DTD for validation
*Good understanding of Flash memory management and experience building applications that manage large numbers of objects efficiently
*Comprehensive understanding of web browsers and front-end technologies, including HTML5.0, HTML4.0, CSS, and JavaScript. JSP a plus
