Senior Forensic Investigator- Internal Audit Division recruitment

The current position focuses on forensic investigations relating to allegations of employee or agent misconduct, financial irregularities, auditing and internal control issues. The investigative work may require minimal travel, depending on the location of the conduct at issue. The Senior Forensic Investigator will have the following key competencies and/or job responsibilities:

* Perform digital forensic analysis in connection with investigations and special reviews with a moderate level supervision (relevant to the years of experience).

* Utilize forensic software applications and other utilities to collect, process, review and analyze electronic evidence.

* Employ digital forensic best practices and procedures to derive investigative findings supporting or disproving allegations.

* Form and articulate expert opinions based on forensic analysis and research.

* Observe proper evidence custody and control procedures.

* Document investigative steps and findings, and prepare comprehensive written notes and reports.

* Possess strong analytical skills to identify investigative concerns, appropriate testing or investigative procedures.

* Review and document client processes, procedures, and control environment.

* Understand how key risks and controls impact the business from an operational, accounting and/or systems perspective.

* Produce quality oral and written work product presenting complex technical matters clearly and concisely requiring minimal editing, and provide a clear message to ensure client understanding and suggestion for corrective action.

* Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, perform highly detailed work and meet deadlines.

* Establish effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.

* Participate in fraud risk assessments in conjunction with audit planning, and periodic monitoring of operational or financial data to recognize patterns and trends and be able to identify and discuss risk and control implications.

* Participate in presenting fraud awareness training to corporate and business colleagues.

* Assist with the preparation of quarterly reporting to Senior Management and the Audit Committee.

* Strong organizational skills and proven ability to effectively prioritize initiatives to meet expectations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to all levels of senior management.

* Work in partnership with clients and colleagues to contribute to the Firm's success.

* Enthusiastic and self motivated but who works well in teams.

* Ability to think in a creative and innovative manner.

* Must demonstrate strong ethics.

* 2+ years of experience in computer/digital forensics and investigations.
* Forensic Certification such as ENCE, ACE, GCFA, CFCE strongly preferred.
* Proficient with forensic techniques, evidence handling procedures and the commonly used forensic toolsets, such as EnCase and FTK.
* Experience with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, information systems security, network architecture, and general database concepts.
* Superior Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, Access PowerPoint.
* Insurance and/or financial services industry knowledge is a plus.
* Accounting or auditing (public or private) experience is a plus.
* Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial.
