Senior General Ledger Project Manager recruitment
My client, a top tier Investment Bank is looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for the delivary of GL projects across APAC.
A regional role this position offers the successful candidate the opporunity to drive change inititives and be responsible for the intergration and implementation of the GL across various business streams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business teams/project manager to gather requirements, create specifications, get the necessary buy in / approvals and develop new solutions or enhance existing ones.
- Consultative analysis and functional requirement analysis are completed, tested and documented that meets the project objectives.
- Undertake root cause analysis and develop innovative approaches for meeting the project deliverables.
- Assure the quality of work produced in development, ensuring that business practices and technical standards are adhered to and quality solution delivered to specified standards.
- Coordinate with various finance departments for completion of project tasks without affecting current operations
- Work with project manager/product specialist to understand and document project objectives and scope.
- Work with business owners from affected business areas to understand current processes and to document and prioritize requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong track record of delivering solutions on large projects, within a financial services environement
- Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.
- At least 8 years experience
