Senior German Speaking Energy Trading Lawyer in London office recruitment
In summary, the duties of the role are:
• Primary point of contact for Commodities related business with a focus on Germany and beyond.
• Negotiating physical/financial energy agreements both plain vanilla and structured (power, gas and coal).
• Review of credit support documents, service agreements, IT and software agreements, confidentiality agreements, exchange member agreements, in particular but not limited to Germany.
• Dealing with German and Authorities and Grid Operators.
• Assisting in German Primary Investment Opportunity
Experience and Requirements
• German law degree (commercial/corporate/financial law) and qualification (or equivalent).
• PQE qualified from two to seven years.
• Relevant experience in the energy (gas - electricity - coal) trading sector and/or derivatives.
• Proficiency in other European languages (in particular Polish/Hungarian/Russian) is an asset.
• Team-player, able to work under pressure in a trading environment.
• Excellent communication skills towards colleagues, in-house traders and marketers and counterparts.
