Senior Insurance Business Analyst
Parker Fitzgerald's Reguatory Change practice focuses on the delivery of emerging legislation and prudential policy for financial institutions in the areas of regulatory capital and liquidity management.
We advise firms at every stage of the implementation cycle, taking clients beyond compliance by devising strategies and approaches that enable them to leverage their investment to transform organisational performance, market positioning and overall competitiveness.
The role willrequire you to work within a team of external consultants who are responsible for the implementation of key business processes and technical and business architecture across the firm.
In doing so you will support and work closely with a number of Architects, Advisors and the firm’s own staff to drive out optimal systems and processes to support all key deliverables and wider Enterprise Risk Capital Managementobjectives.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful individual will have worked with other leading Insurers, preferably on another Legal Entity Restructuring programme either directly, or on assignment with a major Consultancy, and therefore have a strong understanding of requirements as well as business processes within the Risk, Finance and Actuarial functions.
In addition to yourdeep Insurance knowledge, you will ideally bring the relevant toolkits, bestpractice methodologies and knowhow in the areas of:
- Process Modelling (e.g. Lean / Six Sigma)
- GAP Impact Analysis
- Definition of Business / Functional Requirements
- Consultancy grade Documentation skills
- Fluent in one of English or French and excellent knowledge of the other
Please note that significant experience in the Insurance (General or Life Pensions) sector is essential for this role, as is an excellent woring knowledge of both English and French.
