Senior Internal Controls Anlayst

 

The purpose of this role is to that the Internal Control function and control frameworks are fit for purpose to and maintain robust control and compliance across the business through:

 

·         Producing Internal Control Assessments – designing and embedding the on-going control monitoring

·         Providing guidance on the Risk Matrix and factoring in the constantly-changing risk profile of the trading business

·         Development and on-going maintenance of the control framework (including compliance and IT-related elements)

·         Incident Reporting processes,

·         Assist control-gap remediation,

·         Identify control and process improvement initiatives.

·         Ensure that sound controls are included in all changes

·         Conducting internal control reviews of commercial desks, global entities or middle and back office functions

·         Producing internal control reports of external market incidents relating to trading or trader activities.

Experience required

·         5-10 years relevant experience in internal controls, compliance or internal audit within a financial control, reporting or business process control role in a trading environment

·         Experience of control evaluation processes and design and maintenance of business processes in a fast-changing and significant regulatory environment.

·         Experience of financial controls, process analysis and assessment of risk within complex financial processes is highly desirable.

·         Accounting qualifications including AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CICP, IFRS

·         Experience of working in a fast paced environment is essential
