Upon joining a project team, you will work closely with our client, a prestigious Bank in Sydney to help them evaluate, select, plan and support the implementation of the Avaloq banking system based on business and IT requirements. Your tasks and responsibilities woud be:
Your main responsibilities
- Implementation of the Avaloq banking system including writing technical and/or business specifications
- Designing and developing interfaces and add-on solutions
- Parameterisation and customisation of various business modules
- Enhancing overall concepts, evaluating business impacts and training end –users
- Coding
Your qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in engineering
- 5 to 7 years experience with banking or financial applications or deep knowledge of banking operations ( ideally in accounting/controlling, middle or back-office operations)
- A practical knowledge of relational databases , preferably Oracle and SQL knowledge, and/or programming skills, ideally PL/SQL knowledge, would be an asset.
- Willingness to work remotely at clients’ premises in Australia and abroad on long-term projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
