Are you an exceptionally talented, highly driven Senior Java Developer looking for a prestigious and challenging Greenfield Algorithmic role? If so, please read on.
The successful candidate will enjoy a Greenfield role working on reducing latency and tuning the performance of high through-put real-time systems whilst dealing with desk traders and quantitative analysts. What makes this role truly unique is that almost all of the systems you will be working on will be sub-millisecond algorithmic pricing systems alongside an Agile team of some of the world’s most talented technologists. You will be working in the FX markets responding to changing pricing relationships and refining analytics, meaning a fast paced working environment that will keep you on your toes.
Ideally, you will not only have experience but you will also be able to show a deep understanding of interest rate curves, yield calculations and swaps. Previous experience of multithreading, SQL, C# and FX trading systems is also preferable as my client is looking for an all round industry leading Server Side Senior Java Developer.
Essential Technologies:
• J2SE (Server side Java 1.6) is essential; only the strongest developers will be successful
• Extensive experience of Low latency/high frequency and multithreading is required
• Experience with real-time, highly transactional technologies
• A proven track record of excellence within Agile teams working on business critical trading systems
• A good academic record (2:1 degree in a BSc of Computer Science or similar from a leading academic establishment)
