Harrington Starr is working with a Multi Asset Trading Systems Vendor to find a Senior Java Developer to work on development of an Options and Derivatives Trading System.
As the Senior Java Developer (Core Java, J2SE, Swing, GUI, Multi-Threading) you will be working in an agile development team and will be adding new functionality and features to an Options and Derivatives Trading system that is used across the Tier 1 Banking community. You will be doing server side development as well as working on the front end GUI in Java Swing. The work here will be highly multi threaded and you will need a strong grasp of the basics of Core Java Development.
This Vendor have consistently been expanding their market share and are looking to continue this through new development and having the best systems on the market. This Trading System is widely used throughout the Financial Services Sector and is a great opportunity for you to learn about the Financial Services Sector and gain strong experience with Trading Systems.
As the Senior Java Developer (Core Java, J2SE, Swing, GUI, Multi-Threading) you will need to have:
* Strong knowledge of Core J2SE Java Development - Essential
* Good knowledge of Multi Threading Development - Highly Beneficial
* Experience in an agile development team - Highly Beneficial
* Experience with Spring or Hibernate - Beneficial
* Experience with Swing or GUI development - Beneficial
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Java Developer (Core Java, J2SE, Swing, GUI, Multi-Threading) to move into the Financial Services Sector and to work on an Options and Derivatives Trading System.
