Senior Java Developer - Analytics Structured Analytics Valuation division – Shenzhen, China

The position is for a Senior Java Developer to work for the leading credit ratings agency which performs international financial research and analysis on commercial and government entities within their Shenzhen office in China. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for server side applications and deal libraries.
The Senior Java Developer will lead a small team of engineers who will be working on the implementation, testing and support of a financial distributed computing and content delivery platform. The Senior Java developer will encouraged to build solid relationships with the architectural team, BA’s, Project managers, database administrators and quality assurance engineers for the success of the project.
The client is really inclined to speak to Senior Java developers with a wealth of experience on developing server-side applications and deal libraries.
Technical skills required: Senior Java Developer - Analytics Structured Analytics Valuation division – Shenzhen, China
(Core Java, Multi-threaded, SQL, J-unit, Maven, C#, C++)
- Ability to write clean, well-structured, self-explanatory code.
- Ability to understand and support existing company server side code.
- 3-8 years of OOP experience, (Java design/development is preferred.)
- Ability to understand and implement multi-threaded software in Java.
- Real experience with (and clear understanding of) database programming and SQL
- Understanding of XML fundamentals
- Familiarity with the JUnit framework including the discipline of developing unit tests as coding proceeds.
- Familiarity with the Maven
- Familiarity with open source technology,
- Willingness to comply with company coding standards
- Superb analytical skills and persistence in problem solving.
- Proactive, collaborative, team-oriented
- Minimum BA/BS Computer Science or technical degree from a top institution. Masters in Computer Science a plus.
- Strong verbal/written skills in English.
- Exposure to or proven interest in the financial industry, banking, and/or financial
- Experience with C++, C#, .Net a plus.
