My client, a global financial services client, is looking for an experienced Agile Java Developer to join their growing team in Sydneys CBD.
The role requires someone with a strong web application development background in the Java/J2EE environment. With development responsibilities in both the front and backend development you will need to have come from a similar background with proven skills in these areas:
- Java / J2EE development and API's.
- Server layer technology, such as Spring and EJB.
- ORM persistence technologies, such as Hibernate.
- Agile development practices.
- JavaScript, CSS, HTML, struts, gwt/gxt and Ajax based technology like JQuery.
- MySQL database server and performance tuning technique.
- UML
In addition to technical skills, you will be need to have strong business facing skills as this role involves requirement gathering responsibilities from business users.
