Senior Java Developer/Technical Consultant recruitment
You will act as the main point of contact for clients from initial analysis through to final delivery, will help define the technical blueprint of the required solution and provide technical direction to internal development teams. The ideal individual will have a strong hands on development background and will still retain an interest in development tools and techniques. Your technical remit must cover most of the following; Java, JEE, XML, Oracle (or another RDBMS), WebLogic, WebSphere. It is also important that you have either worked for or delivered solutions to an Investment Bank as a good general understanding of the financial marketplace is required. This role would suit either a mid-senior level Java Developer who would be interested in taking the step in to a client facing technical consultancy role, or an established technical consultant looking for a fresh and rewarding challenge. Due to the nature of the role you will be expected to do some travelling to client sites abroad.
