McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University is seeking a full time instructor and technical support specialist. Duties will include:

• Teaching Introduction to Microcomputer Applications course.
• Imaging, maintenance and support of departmental computer labs
• Maintenance and support of departmental servers
• Maintenance and support of departmental computing hardware
• Maintenance and management of virtual database and web servers
• Training students to access departmental servers from off-campus
• Accounting of departmental software licenses
• Auditing and certifying security of departmental servers and computer labs.

Qualifications

Required:
A graduate level degree in CS, CIS, another related technology degree, or an MBA with 18 graduate hours in CS or CIS.
Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008, IIS web servers, server security, and .Net environment

Preferred:
Microsoft Certification (MCITP, MCTS)
Microsoft or Oracle DBA Certification
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
1 or more years of relevant industry experience or equivalent college-level teaching experience.
