Missions
Within the Legal Department, you will provide internal legal advice to the Société Générale Securities Services business line in respect of the whole custody and sub custody chain. You will handle legal documentation in relation with the provision of services to institutional clients (investment funds, asset managers, banks, insurance companies ) and in particular:
- Draft and negociate agreements such as custodian and sub-custodian agreements, fund brokerage agreements, paying and listing agent agreements, funds central administration agreements, services level agreements
- Draft or review legal opinions in relation to securities services business line activities
- Provide legal analysis with respect to new products developed by the business line
- Participate to the legal and regulatory watch by writing memos about new European or Luxembourg regulations
Profile
- Posgraduate legal studies, Erasmus or LL.M.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment and european legal framework
- 4 to 6 years recognised practice in the finance industry with focus on securities and banking law
- Fluent in English and French with the ability to draft and negociate contractual documentation in both languages. German would be an advantage.
- Autonomous in the work organisation and able to have a global approach to legal issues while being able to understand business, operational and risks concerns
- Ability to meet the deadlines, team spirit focused
- Good command of office softwares
