Senior LME Broker – New York/London (Broking; LME; Base Metals; Sales; Futures; Options; London; UK; Europe; New York; USA)
I am working with a leading brokerage that is looking for a senior broker or salesperson to add to their base metals team in New York or London. They are looking to develop their LME platform in both locations so are seeking experienced individuals with relationships in the respective regions.
Responsibilities for this Role include:
- Responsible for developing new clients across the region in addition to maintaining existing relationships.
- Maintain a profitable book for base metal products across the LME platform.
- Assist in the expansion plans of the team; with the long term view of building the team in that location.
- Develop relationships and networks globally to increase coverage and market share.
Skills/ Attributes needed for this Role:
- 3-5 years of metal sales/broking experience
- Proven track records of sales in the OTC markets.
- Strong knowledge of the metals space in the respective region.
- Transferable client base.
- Highly motivated and driven.
- Good communication skills.
