Senior Loan Officer
Community Trust, a division of Self-Help Federal Credit Union, a leading, nationally recognized nonprofit community development lender, real estate developer, and credit union, has an opening on its lending team for a motivated, talented, career oriented individual for a Senior Consumer Loan Officer position in East Contra Costa or Stanislaus County areas. We invite you to apply if you are a person who: has a passion for building stronger communities, have a history of effectively counseling and assisting loan applicants, are experienced with requesting, reviewing and processing information required to secure consumer loans, have had loan approval authority, are skilled at promoting loan products and services, are knowledgeable of Federal, State, and financial institution lending guidance, has a successful business developer, and a strong team player. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented and be bilingual, English-Spanish speaking.
• 3 or more years working with consumer lending.
• 2 years or more in a supervisory position.
• High School or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of consumer loans.
• Working knowledge of computer systems.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.
• Traveling to branches 25%
