SENIOR LOAN SERVICES SPECIALIST Job
Position Description Responsible for monitoring the daily workflow within the department, which may include review, processing or servicing of loan documentation and support. Ensure that all work has been completed and departmental deadlines have been met. Analyze and recommend changes to systems and operational procedures that will improve the delivery of service. Resolve any problems, issues or questions, both verbally and in writing, to ensure customer satisfaction and to maintain productive relationships with other bank departments. Comply with bank policies and federal, state and other governmental rules and regulations for multiple banks in multiple states. Also, responsible for researching, analyzing and resolving complex documentation or servicing issues that may involve greater risk and time critical aspects. Act as a departmental Lead by monitoring workflow, training new associates and implementing new procedures. Fill in for Loan Services Specialist II, when necessary, but maintain a higher level of productivity. Learn various duties of and be able to fill in for the department Supervisor in his/her absence. Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years lending and loan operations experience. Additional Requirements: Minimum of 2 years as a Loan Servicing Specialist I or II Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Browser Considerable knowledge of loan related documentation Working knowledge of the systems and applications Ability to exercise good judgment Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written communications. Attention to detail and the ability to perform in a demanding production environment Working knowledge of applicable federal regulations and state laws in a multi-state environment Other Preferred Qualifications: Commercial loan experience Experience with the AFS Loan System Nearest Major Market: Raleigh Job Segments: Bank, Banking, Finance, Loan
