Senior Macro-Level Analyst, Global Real Estate / Property Business, Hong Kong recruitment
My client requires a native English, or near-native English speaker, to work as a part of an international team based in Hong Kong. We do not require that you have any specific Asia Pacific exposure in your background but we do look for someone who has been working as an Analyst for at least a couple of years from a leading property business in Europe. You should be responsible for collating and analysing research on regional Real Estate Data to a high standard as a part of an international business.
This role also represents a chance to learn from one of the top names in the Asia Pacific region who is an industry leading expert, and is the current Head of Asia Research for one of the largest global real-estate firms.
The ideal experience we are looking for is 2-5 years exposure in coordinating and collating real estate market data, forecasts and reports in your region, preferably for commercial property. The role will give you the exposure to the Asia Pacific market and you will work with research professionals throughout the APAC region. As such, the position will be based in Hong Kong with occasional travel in the Asia Pacific region.
Requirements:
- Analyse market data and forecasts to support the commercial property business
- Write and manage reports at a macro level for the commercial real-estate business
- Releasing quarterly research reports that go out to the public domain
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally with clients of the firm
- Strong Project Management skills, leading and managing research initiatives independently
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent fluency in written and spoken English
Profile:
- Good Degree in Economics or Real Estate
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant commercial real estate research experience
- Proactive, dynamic problem-solver, strategic thinking and ability to self-improve
- Motivated self-starting personality, desire to work well both independently and collaboratively as part of an industry-leading team
- Strong skills with all MS Office Programmes
- Motivated to work in a driven and professional team-based environment
