Senior Management Accountant Jobs, UAE
The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:
1. Take leadership and responsibility for the maintenance and continual development of the group’s accounting systems and processes. This includes:
- Drive robust processing and month-end procedures to ensure ledgers are accurately maintained
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement system processing improvements and efficiencies
- Champion the focus and efforts on ensuring the continual integrity of the control environmentDrive management reporting such that it is accurate, timely and genuinely enhances management decision making
2.Prepare IFRS compliant statutory and non-statutory financial statements and be on point with external auditors at annual audits
3.Develop strong “client” relationships with Legatum senior management and the heads of private operations / assets
4.Manage key external relationships with professional advisors, bankers and suppliers
5.Ultimate responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of project and operational disbursements
Who we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree and post graduate accounting qualification
- At least 5 years’ post-qualified experience in an international accountancy firm and/or blue chip environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and ideally Sun systems
