Full Job Description
- Review and update Regional Business Continuity Plan
- Prepare the budget for the regional function
- Provide training - ALCM-Finance staff and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain a strong control framework and monitor FIM and regulatory compliance
- Conduct department control reviews and risk assessments
- Support off shoring and organisation design-development initiatives through liaison and planning with relevant areas.
- Assist with responding to ad-hoc data requests.
- Prepare and monitor the work plan for the Reporting Ops team
- Provide accrual and month end variance data for ALCM cost centres to the European Finance Management Information team.
- Planning and oversight of all audits (internal and external) and department controls
- Management of relationship with departments which provide services ALM including IT and HR
- Implement effective control and cost management mechanisms within department - consistent with European Finance directives
- Maintenance of organisational charts for ALM department
- Creation of departmental specific communication planning in partnership with European Finance communication team (eg ALCM intranet site)
- Proactively identify opportunities to deliver improvements in existing ALM practices through the application of enhanced technology and streamlined processes, on an ongoing basis

- Finance processing and operational management experience
- Ability to interact with and influence "C" level executives
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Continuous improvement and change management experience essential
- Formal training in project management methods (PRINCE 2 or equivalent), or work experience which indicates capability at this level
- Excellent oral and written communication and influencing skills, including high level report writing presentation abilities
