Senior Trade Advisor
Full Job Description
- Provide regulatory advisory services to businesses in relation to business models and in the structuring and restructuring of transactions in order to optimize capital consumption.
- Provide guidance on regulations pertaining to Group-level regulatory reporting to other Finance functions to enhance control and improve quality of reporting.
- Participate in due diligence for control processes for new types of products- transactions.
- Monitor and assess changes in the Group`s regulatory reporting requirements and communicate them to senior management, control functions and businesses, where appropriate.
- Establish close working relationships with Finance Transaction Group, CIB Finance, Group Legal, Risk and Accounting Policy Advisory Group (APAG).
- Provide education and training to stakeholders and other departments.
You will have:
- Experience in a regulatory or risk advisory role an investment bank, central bank, consultancy or law firm
- Excellent national and international regulatory knowledge (e.g. German solvency regulation, CRD, Basel II) and experience with a good understanding of internal and external reporting processes.
- An in depth knowledge of the current state of German and UK regulatory requirements and ongoing discussions regarding the revision of the international regulatory framework (Basel III, CRD 3 and 4).
- Basic insight in relevant accounting rules and the connection with the regulatory framework.
- Good knowledge and experience with all types of structured trading products, especially in the area of credit trading and securitisation transactions.
- German language skills would be a strong advantage
You will be:
- An excellent communicator at all levels both verbally and written based on experience with stakeholder in front office (trading and structuring).
- Able to interpret, communicate and solve complex regulatory issues in a timely manner.
- Qualified lawyer or otherwise university educated, in business administration, finance or economics.
