Job Description

The job holder will
- provide leadership and administering the delivery of transfer agency and shareholder service operations to fund clients and direct the development of new products and services as well as on boarding of new fund clients. This will cover both traditional funds and Alternative Funds
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all Transfer Agency and Shareholder Service operations
- Train and develops managers and staff.
- Support supervise the Anti Money Laundering /KYC processes under the product "KYC on Investor Service". The product forms part of the transfer agency services under Fund Services - Securities Services.
- AML /KYC product suite covers designing and setting-up internal anti-money laundering procedures and policies including customer due diligence measures, reporting, risk assessment, management and control systems.
- This role will be to coordinate with the Regulators, Internal Compliance unit and Transfer Agency SG in offering AML / KYC services.

The role will extend to cover other countries subject the approvals.

Key Roles Responsibilities

* Manages Fund Client Operations team and responds to more complex client and shareholder inquires.
Ensures operational controls, policies and procedures are in place to mitigate risk to SCB, its clients and their shareholders.
* Develops and maintains existing client relationships by responding to more complex client inquires, providing business advice
Prepares and participates in presentations to existing and potential clients..
Hires, trains, and directs staff. Coaches and develops management staff to meet business objectives.
Regularly and accurately reports on all Transfer Agent performance standards measures.
Leverages industry groups and contacts to stay abreast of industry trends.
Manages major vendor relationships, contracts, and billings negotiating pricing/service levels.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Responsible for Anti Money laundering and KYC functions.
* Act as the Anti Money laundering officer for Funds and a point of escalation for Alerts
* Keep abreast of all relevant legislation and regulations, in relevant jurisdictions where the firm conducts business, with particular focus on Anti-Money Laundering /US Tax laws and FATCA.
* Coordinate with Regulators SCB compliance department in matters relating to AML, KYC Counterfeit Terrorism Transaction Reporting.
* Conduct all new employees' compliance induction training and ongoing staff training on risk and compliance
* Ongoing review of procedures and processes on KYC on investors and related items.
* Escalation point for any alerts related AML/KYC responsible for suspicious transaction monitoring.
* Preparing for and managing inspections by the Regulators and understanding changes in regulations

Qualifications Skills

Degree. PG / Professional qualification preferred
Experience of minimum of 8 years in AML/KYC services.
Advanced English language, oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation, business case, and report-writing skills
Ability to multi task and liaise with internal stake holders.
Methodical and systematic in work approach
