Senior Manager, Actuarial, Sydney recruitment

PwC Actuarial is the largest actuarial consulting practice in Australia, with around 170 actuaries and related specialists. We are a leading provider of risk advisory services across the General Insurance, Accident Compensation, Banking, Life Insurance, Wealth Management, Health and Retirement Incomes industries. Due to the on-going success of the group, Sydney are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager to assist lead the team.

This position will see you join a leading team of senior practitioners with a well established market reputation. As a Senior Manager your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest level of service delivery on a diverse range of actuarial engagements in the key industries listed above. You'll also play a integral role in developing new client relationships, strengthening existing relationships and acting as a coach and mentor to junior members of the team. For the right individual the position and PwC will be able to offer excellent progression and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have proven actuarial experience in a similar environment together with strong consulting capabilities and the ability to communicate with impact. Strong analytic and data skills, high proficiency in excel, VBA and knowledge of SAS are all considered fundamental attributes for the role. Your ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team while managing competing deadlines in a fast based environment is key. Furthermore a commercially astute approach to the management of all engagements will be vitally important to building an on-going career with PwC.
