to sell Cash Management solutions to new and existing clients. Cash Management covers four main disciplines:

Business Development

The Senior Manager Cash Solutions – Financial Intermediaries and Corporates will proactively research target clients (both new and existing), client needs and identify appropriate solutions from the Cash Management product set in conjunction with relationship teams, developing bespoke solutions in conjunction with Product and other stakeholders where appropriate. They will maintain a regular contact program with both target and key existing clients, mainly at CEO/CFO levels and their focus will be on the most valuable cash management deals (£100k+ new revenue), and those clients typically generating £1m+ bank revenue and/or £50k+ cash management revenue with greater wallet share opportunities, in particular the IIWS Intermediaries and UHNW Family Office markets.

The Senior Manager Cash Solutions – Financial Intermediaries and Corporates holder will be responsible for selling complex cash management products using a consultative and needs satisfaction approach, negotiating and closing the sale. Typically this will involve multi-jurisdiction (3+) or global liquidity arrangements, host to host global payment solutions and fully integrated Straight Through Processing (STP) solutions. They will initiate and prepare Cash Management tender and proposal documentation, and contribute to other "pan-group" tenders where applicable.

The Senior Manager Cash Solutions – Financial Intermediaries and Corporates will develop links with other Group Companies and product areas to maximise cross selling opportunities and arrange and attend selected seminars to promote cash management solutions to clients and obtain leads from non-clients. They will also develop and maintain links with local referral sources of cash management services (e.g. KBI's/Consultants) and ensure they are kept up to date with the banks offerings.

The role holder will develop, plan and manage cash product implementations to ensure clients' expectations are exceeded. They will also engage co-ordinate both other divisional Cash Trade Sales teams and Implementation team, where appropriate, for delivery of their complex Cash solutions.

Qualifications

Professional/Technical experience

The right candidate will have extensive cash management sales experience preferably with some exposure to dealing with offshore clients. They will have an excellent, in depth, knowledge of Cash Management product set and be familiar with both operational and client servicing environments. 

The role holder will have a detailed knowledge of concepts such as Straight Through Processing and Pricing/Cost/Volume relationship. They will also have good knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards of relevant industry bodies or organisations. They will have strong PC skills and a good working knowledge of client ERP and Accounting systems and how they can interface with the banks cash management products.
