Senior Manager, Finance (Hong Kong) recruitment

Our client is a leading Alternative Management Company
Job Summary:
- Supervise the overall fund administration services for managed private market funds
- Support finance transaction in the investment process of our principal investments
- Support financial reporting and management reporting for entity and its group of companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the overall fund administration services for our managed private market funds
- Provide finance transaction supports during the investment and exit process (mainly in China)
- Ensure financial controls are in place and operate effectively
- Monitor the fund’s transactions periodically and timely to ensure they are legitimate, and reasonable
- Adherence to all policies procedures and compliance with any restrictions
- Perform financial reporting function (including consolidation) for the Group (including few China WOFEs) with the support from other team members
Requirements:
***MUST HAVE***
- Qualified Accountant
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with which at least 4 years of audit experience with Big-4 accounting firms
- A subject matter expert in financial accounting with strong knowledge of accounting standards is a must
- Comprehensive experience in handling daily finance operations and management reporting
- Knowledge in private market fund administration and China real estate market is preferable
- Attention to details and has the ability to conduct meaningful financial analysis independently
China exposure - Good computer skills; experience with Flex and Kingdee accounting system would be an advantage
- An effective communicator with excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
