Senior Manager GCT Accounting Policy
Our clientis a leading Financial Services organisation based in London looking for aTechnical Accountantof high calibre.
Key accountabilities
Acting in support of Group Treasury and the Structured Transactions Group to provide technical accounting analysis of proposed transactions liaising where appropriate with external advisors and other areas of the Group. These transactions are often highly complex and the successful candidate is likely to have a technical accounting background including exposure to treasury products.
- Act as a senior source of professional expertise and input into the development of Finance policy
- Lead, develop and implement processes to deliver Group policy aligned to own area
- Support Accounting Developments Project including assessing the impact and the implantation of new Accounting Standards in own area
- Design and Provide training sessions for Finance, other support functions and the business
- Provide insightful information, guidance and advice to influence business decisions
- Build and maintain a cross functional internal network to optimise business results
- Review, evaluate and mitigate potential risks
An IFRS technical accounting background including exposure to treasury
