Senior Manager- GI Risk recruitment
The senior manager is responsible for supporting the GI Risk Director in reviewing, quantifying and challenging the business's management of exposures to all types of GI risks including their approaches to risk identification, measuring risk impacts and monitoring the impact on the wider business.
They will seek to ensure that for Insurance Risk, the Group operates within the mandated risk framework and that the appropriate culture, governance and oversight arrangements are in place to manage effectively the risks to achievement of the clients objectives.
Risk profile insight and analysis
*Pro-actively providing specialist insight and analysis of insurance risk profile monitoring through the review and challenge of risk profile/trends and the identification of material changes in risk profile and emerging risks.
*Oversight and challenge of GI risk appetite. Analysing and reporting on breaches in risk appetite/limits and making constructive proposals.
*Developing relevant, standardised reporting (in conjunction with Enterprise Risk) to Board/Risk Committee on GI risk profiles.
This position is ideally suited to a qualified Actuary or Underwriter with extensive experience in the GI Business. Candidates must have significant financial services sector experience in international organisations, and experience of working in a regulated environment
