Senior Manager, Group Treasury recruitment

Job Description

You will be a member of the Group Treasury Liquidity Team with responsibility for Basel III liquidity project management.

You will support the Group Head of Liquidity and B3 Programme Director, around the delivery and implementation of the Liquidity Coverage Ratio ('LCR') reporting requirement and the delivery of EBA mandated LCR reporting throughout the observation period 2012/13 via country engagement.

You will ensure that all key stakeholders have adequate systems, tools and processes to manage to LCR as and when this goes live.

As a member of Group Treasury and as the Project Manager for Basel III liquidity you will be required to work closely with senior management, the Businesses, Country CEOs, Group Finance, Group Market Risk to manage and deliver the bank's strategic implementation of Basel III liquidity metrics.

Key Roles Responsibilities

* Support the Group Head of Liquidity and B3 Programme Director, around the delivery and implementation of the Liquidity Coverage Ratio reporting requirement.
* Coordinate with the relevant countries participating in the B3 exercise and increase coverage as the programme progresses.
* Ensure the requirements are clearly articulated to the finance systems teams who will lead the implementation of the automated solution.
* Ensure SCB has the ability to calculate and report the LCR both at the Group and Solo levels at or better than the required frequency of reporting.
* Chair Basel III Liquidity Workstreams Steering Committee and provide regular project updates to senior internal committees such as Group Liquidity Management Committee, Country ALCO and Basel Project Steering Committee.
* Ensure the development of appropriate management policies and guidelines to adopt the LCR regulations for SCB. The development of such policies and guidelines would depend upon the firming up of the CRD / CRR as well as the EBA technical standards.
* Establish and institutionalize appropriate roles and relationship for reporting, review, management and governance of LCR. Define terms of reference for relevant committees to manage and take action, as necessary, on these metrics.

Qualifications Skills

To succeed in this role, you should

- Preferably possess a post graduate certification (Masters, CFA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
- Be a Senior Programme Manager with extensive and diverse scope of responsibility, proven success, and track record of delivering optimal results in highly complex, cross departmental and cross country environments.
- Experience in banking, accounting/finance or risk
- Preferably experience with Basel III liquidity ratios (LCR, NSFR)
- A clear confident communicator and presenter
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of numeracy
