Senior Manager - Internal Audit
Working for a reputable international bank, you will be:
- proactively implementing the audit strategy by defining audit scope, audit program and audit test procedures, including:
- Management of business partner relationships
- Anticipating and excersising critical thinking and judgement to effectively influence business management and peers and acting as a catalyst
- Assisting business partners to balance strategies wth appropriate risk management controls from a line of business perspective
- Interacting with regulators, external consultants
- Communication of corporate audit mission, goals and strategies
- Coaching and training of associates within group and accross audit
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can demonstrate strong knowledge of internal audit within the banking industry to move into a pivotal role in a leading financial services organisation. The ideal candidate will have significant (minimum 8-10 years) relevant industry experience (wealth, retail and private banking, institutional markets services) and be able to clearly demonstrate where they have added value through change.
You must have had exposure to front to back processes within a banking institution. Also it is important that you are able to demonstrate a clear track record in problem solving and the ability to develop relationships quickly with difficult stakeholders.
