Senior Manager, Project Manager, Governance, Plan, Investment Bank
Senior Manager required to head up with the Strategic Programme Office within a leading investment bank within a huge £300 million programme. The department are responsible for delivering key Credit Risk and Market Risk change solutions across the organisation. You will be owning 10 key workstreams each having a budget of £5 million - £10 million which operate at a programme level. Therefore this will involve robust planning, setting up governance structures and producing status updates for executive level board members. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining programme plans on large complex programmes and influencing the strategic direction and roadmaps.
This is a unique role for a skilled Senior Manager to plan and deliver very important programmes of work across the bank’s risk systems as well as managing a team of on and offshore resources. You will need to be able to work in a structured process and have demonstrable experience of delivering large complex programmes.
Essential:
- Senior Management experience within the financial services sector
- Ability to manage a portfolio of programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technology
- Produce robust plans, status updates, strategic direction and roadmaps across multiple programmes
- Produce clear and concise weekly reports to senior executives
- Experience of management reporting on complex programmes including steering committees, weekly reporting etc
- Experience of RAID concepts, derivation and management
- Management and leadership of resources
