Position Description:
SunGard Global Services combines business consulting, technology and professional services for financial services institutions, energy companies and corporations. Leveraging SunGard??s global delivery model, more than 5,000 consultants and developers worldwide help customers manage their complex data needs, optimize end-to-end business processes and assist with systems integration, while providing full application development, maintenance, testing and support services.
SunGard is seeking a seasoned talent acquisition leader in EMEA (based in London) that will be responsible for planning, developing and executing the Talent Acquisition strategy for SunGard Global Services in EMEA. This position reports into the Director of Talent Acquisition and Management with dotted line reporting relationship into the EMEA Managing Partner.
Key Responsibilities:
?¢ Develop a complete understanding of Global Services business objectives
?¢ Consult with Partners and Managing Partners to understand the regional workforce plan, required skills, timeframes and resources required
?¢ Design, develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to meet the workforce plan from both a permanent and contract standpoint
?¢ Ensure that all levels of management understand, buy-in and support the Talent Acquisition strategy
?¢ Source candidates using a variety of creative, cost-effective, diverse methods including but not limited to direct sourcing, networking, internet research and employee referrals
?¢ Build partnerships with external suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure timely identification of candidates as needed
?¢ Strengthen and develop the SGS brand in the candidate market
?¢ Managed candidates throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle
?¢ Coordinate with Human Resources with regards to on-boarding
?¢ Build a collaborative relationship with peers in other regions to ensure best practice sharing/adoption occurs
?¢ As the business demands increase, oversee and lead a regional team of Talent Acquisition staff
?¢ Willingness to be a team player and support others within the organization in order to achieve the objectives of the business.
Position Requirements:
Knowledge Experience:
?¢ Deep knowledge of Talent Acquisition within Consulting Services organizations within EMEA
?¢ Previous experience recruiting in the areas of technology, financial services, energy
?¢ Demonstrated ability to handle high volume, multi-location recruitment
?¢ Ability to manage expectations of multiple hiring managers
?¢ Ability to effectively influence and guide business leaders
