Senior Manager (VP), Real Estate Funds recruitment

Our client is a rapidly growing private equity real estate fund which has a significant presence in Hong Kong and China markets. With its commitment to grow its business further with new capital, they are looking to hire a high calibre, experienced Finance professional (VP) to support the real estate and mature funds.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the China project operational review and liaison amongst JV partners, government authorities, and banks. On the accounting perspective, you will take charge of the month-end closing, sub group consolidation, and management information analysis (budgeting, NPV, IRR calculations, variance analysis) functions. In addition, you will be required to take part in the cash flow projection and the performance measurement of investment and real estate funds. In this role, you will also be exposed to financial and tax due diligence on acquisitions. Furthermore, with the growing business in the real estate area, you will be required to take on ad hoc projects in line with business needs.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Bachelor degree in accounting/finance discipline with an internationally recognized accounting qualification
- Solid knowledge in construction and/or property development accounting is crucial
- Good experience in China JV property project is preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience obtained in a well established private equity real estate firm or property development company
- Strong PC skills, with hands-on skills with Excel and a high aptitude for numbers
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
