Manufacturing Technologist - Mechanical, Electronic Assemblies MUST BE US CITIZEN and eligible for security clearance Description: Work with our Electronic and Mechanical Engineers to design, develop and aid in the manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies and systems, dealing primarily with mechanical and electronic assemblies, almost all of the work that is done in this facility contains optics. Generate a workflow which accurately defines tasks and estimates times to completion. Write detailed sets of instructions (Manufacturing Operation Sheet) which details the assembly process for our hardware and design tooling to support these tasks. Read and work with engineer generated Pro/E drawings. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years experience. Experience in writing a detailed set of instructions (Manufacturing Operation Sheet) which details the assembly process for our hardware and experience designing tooling to support these tasks. Familiarity with the Pro/E design tool. Must be able to read and work with engineer generated Pro/E drawings. Familiarity with NASA and/or J-Standard soldering techniques. Solder certification is not required but would be a plus. Familiar with working with a number of different materials such as graphite epoxy, beryllium, titanium, various alumins and steels.. Familiar with various adhesives and epoxies. Should be experienced with building "'flight" hardware and should be familiar with the following: - Working with and building hardware in a clean room - Handling equipment that is static sensitive. - Aware of MIL Specs, ISO requirements and DFMA - Continuous Improvement APPLY NOW jennifer.
