Role Overview
A major focus of the role will therefore be to deliver an active outbound lead generation and awareness program ensuring the smooth logistical execution of all field marketing programs for events, tradeshows, direct mail campaigns, etc. Based in London and managing a team of regional field marketing experts in NA, EMEA, and Asia Pac, the individual manages the global field marketing programs, budget, deliverables, and staff.
Job Description
• Develop and execute focused event marketing calendars under consideration of the company strategy and focus as defined by management for a variety of markets and solutions.
• Carries responsibility for strategy and planning of major global events and tradeshow program
• Responsible for successful execution of major global events, including setting targets, providing assistance with development of program to director, taking leadership of logistics, and measuring success of event.
• Oversee execution of regional plans in EMEA, NA, and Asia Pac as it pertains to events, direct mail campaigns, lead generation programs, etc. Responsibilities include taking leadership of all aspects of plan including logistics, communications, workback schedules, budget management, execution and measurement of success.
• Oversee all aspects of regional tradeshow management including pre-event meetings, packing and shipping, set-up/take-down, on-site presentation, execution of marketing and lead generation activities, public relations (as needed), etc. to ensure successful return-on-investment at shows.
• Work with solution marketing and regional sales directors to identify opportunities in the market and act on them through strategic marketing initiatives.
• Assist the pre-Sales and Sales team with presentations and customer meetings, as required.
• Represent the company positively and professionally at tradeshows, launch events, speaking engagements, and customer sites.
• Work with solution and corporate marketing teams to communicate new product and solution developments to client facing staff.
• Implement, track and measure results of marketing tactics and programs
• Proactively contribute to annual marketing planning process, including providing market, competitive and customer data and insights, strategy and tactical plan development and revenue forecasts/analysis; help to establish fiscal year goals along key metrics to include revenue and market share.
Job Qualifications Competencies
• Extensive marketing experience in the high-tech industry (preferably with risk software vendor or with a financial services company), including marketing management positions
• Masters or Bachelor degree from accredited university in business, marketing or a related discipline
• Experience in risk management, finance or related discipline
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and writing skills
• Proven success in creating and executing event marketing plans
• Sufficient business experience to understand the customer’s business problem
• Proven ability to build an effective team and support team members by visibly rewarding, recognizing and encouraging team contribution across geographical locations.
• The role will require an element of flexibility concerning working hours to match a busy program of external events.
