Summary
Coordinates the planning, procurement, delivery, and installation of medical equipment and
communications systems for owners/clients.
Essential Functions
• Evaluate medical equipment and related systems with respect to age, condition, and technological
status and recommend appropriate disposition to owner/client.
• Use a team approach in implementing the equipment planning process.
• Review assembled medical equipment specifications and coordinate review of healthcare systems
vendor drawings.
• Participate as needed in the development of detailed medical equipment brochures.
• Develop scheduling data for medical equipment planning processes.
• Coordinate equipment delivery and installation schedules with the owner's representative and
medical equipment planner.
• Participate on multiple and diverse healthcare construction projects simultaneously.
• Assist the owner/client in selecting medical equipment and related systems.
• Generates and analyze RFPs and provide value analysis of competitive medical equipment
systems.
• Prepares project cost estimates for inclusion in owner/client proposals.
• Participates in marketing efforts, including preparing initial marketing material, RFPs and formal
presentations.
• Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups
that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.
• Actively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance company image.
• Makes presentations to proactively seek new business opportunities through relationships.
