Job Summary
An opportunity exists for the position of Senior Associate within the OTC derivatives middle office department in Dublin. For the right candidate this represents a good opportunity to gain extensive knowledge of OTC derivatives the OTC market supporting global OTC trading books.
Reporting to an Officer, this position is an opportunity for somebody with experience of Derivatives to deepen their knowledge and broaden their experience within the OTC market. This is also great opportunity to be involved in the development of an expanding team in Ireland.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Derivatives
- Trade capture (New trades, cancellations, novation's, expiries, terminations, maturities)
- Asset set up validation
- Trade confirmations (DTCC, Markit TM, MarkitWire, DS Match, MISYS CMS)
- Lifecycle management/Asset servicing (Swap resets, Credit events etc.)
- Cash management (OTC cash flow calculation monitoring)
- Collateral Valuation Processing
- Reconciliations
Core Competencies
- Previous Middle Office experience
- Knowledge of, or experience working with OTC derivative products (Interest Rate Swaps, Total Return Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, CFDs, Zero Coupon Swaps, Inflation Swaps)
- Highly computer literate with a very good knowledge of Excel
- Excellent analytical skills attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
