Harrington Starr is working with a Global Financial Brokerage to find a Senior Middleware Integration Developer (JMS, Tibco) to work on the integration of back office and middle office systems.
As the Senior Middleware Integration Developer (JMS, Tibco, Java, C#) you will be sat between a team of developers, focusing on Java and C#, and a data architect. Your role will be to develop on the complex web of middleware connections that sit between all the back office and middle office systems. This is a complex role and will require you to have excellent knowledge of JMS systems, ideally with Tibco EMS, and previous experience on the integration of middleware systems.
This is a global Financial Brokerage, one of the largest in the world, and they are currently in the process of converting into an Exchange, which will is a huge project and one that requires the firm to have an excellent understanding of how their systems connect together. Your role will be a key strategic one and one that will allow you to build a strong career within the firm.
The Senior Middleware Integration Developer (JMS, Tibco, Java, C#) will need:
* Excellent experience with middleware systems in the middle or back office - Essential
* Strong experience with JMS or Tibco EMS - Essential
* Development experience with either Java or C# - Essential
* Knowledge of FIX or FAST connectivity protocols - Beneficial
* Financial Services Experience - Beneficial
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Middleware Integration Developer (JMS, Tibco, Java, C#) to work on a large scale project with complex systems. The process of converting a brokerage into an exchange will be extremely interesting and will give you experience on one of the most exciting projects in the City.
