Senior Mobile Software Developer Job Description: The Senior Mobile Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting applications using Visual Studio 2003/2005 (VA .NET, C#), Blackberry JDE (JAVA), Eclipse (JAVA) and XCode (Objective C). It is expected that the Developer should be able to effectively design and implement applications with minimal input from more senior team members. Responsibilities: - Develop software for smart phone devices in accordance with the requirement documentation using standard software toolkits. - Develop and execute test plans to insure a smooth transition from development to QA. - Ensure development projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and to specification. - Understand, implement, and enforce standard software development methodologies. - Provide effective project management. - Develop detailed estimates for software projects. - Capture detailed product requirements. Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science - 5+ years of experience programming in Visual Basic .NET, C#, JAVA and/or Objective C for mobile devices and smart phones. - Hands on knowledge of smart phones running Android OS, Apple iOS, Blackberry OS, and Windows Mobile. - Working knowledge of networking, xml, web services integration and databases. - Demonstrated written, verbal communications skills. - Great problem solver, strong analytical skills. - Experience with Mobile Workforce Solutions using WWAN communications a plus.
