Senior Network Engineer – Low Latency / Co-lo / Electronic Trading / HFT / Algo
A dynamic individual is required to join a leading financial organization to enhance and support high-availability / Low Latency Infrastructure within Financial Markets.
Responsibilities:
• Provide consultancy and advisory services to the business, technology operations for net business engagements and on-going product development support
• Act as a ‘relationship manager’ to applications and high-profile clients across key business lines
• Deliver high quality infrastructure engineering solutions support
• Identify recommend improvements to infrastructure that result in performance stability improvements
• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders providing a first class level of service.
• Identify and reduce latency by tuning systems and improving flows
• Maintain relationships with key vendors that will benefit the organization
• Undertake continuous improvement
Experience:
• Strong IT Networking technologies experience gained in trading environments I.E Prop Shop, Algo, International Bank
• Cisco (CCNP, CCIE), Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIE), Arsita, Ceina
• Low Latency Tools (Corvil, Tip-Off, Correlix)
• Scripting Languages
• Market Data Applications
• Building high availability, resilient systems
