JOB DESCRIPTION - Sr. Network Engineer
Reporting to the Data Center Manager, the Sr. Network Engineer position is a role to design, install, administer, and optimize production and internal network components to achieve high performance and availability. This particular role of network engineer will also participate in cross-functional duties and projects including areas such as on-call rotations, server builds (Linux and non-Linux), monitoring, and other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-homed web environment at a Top 25 Internet site, or similarly sized network.
Network Engineer Responsibilities:
• Design, support and maintain production network including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and monitoring systems.
• Assist the Data Center Manager with various Data Center design and upkeep tasks
• Manage relationships with hardware vendors and ISPs
• Participate in on-call rotation and solve production issues
• Analyze resource utilization and anticipate growth needs
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and competing priorities

• Juniper Network Equipment (JunOS/Netscreen)
• Efficient Firewall Policy Management
• F5 LTM and GTM
