Senior Network Engineer Job in Vancouver V6V2J2, British Columbia Canada
On behalf of our client, Procom Consultants Group is currently searching for Senior Network Engineers for both permanent and contract opportunities. An individual who is well versed in the complete engagement: from pre-sales support and customer solution education, to post-sales implementation would be ideal.
Job Overview:
Experience with Cisco CallManager, Unity is required; Additionally, expertise implementing, tuning, operating, supporting and performing capacity planning and systems engineering for all enterprise IP Telephony applications and associated network infrastructure is expected.
The successful candidate will also have experience with basic project management and be prepared to use it t his experience within the scope of the project of Cisco IP Telephony installations and migrations.
Requirements:
-Cisco CallManager Express
-CCIE, CCVP and CCNA certification
-6+ years industry experience
-Strong knowledge of IP Concepts and Internetworking technologies is expected. CCIE Voice would be most desirable.
-CCNP/CCVP with a complete CCIE or in process
Excellent time management skills
Excellent customer relations experience
-CCIE, CCVP and CCNA certification
-Consulting experience would be highly desired (presales, client presenations, etc..)
-Cisco Router and Switch configuration, support, and problem analysis.
-Router and Switch management/monitoring tools
-Protocol problem analysis using packet capture tools.
-Can support intermediate level router configurations and is well versed in Layer 2 3 switch configurations.
-Can support technology products in the areas of Network Infrastructure (Core Remote) switches and routers, Firewall/VPN Security, and Wireless systems.
-Can utilize network diagnostic tools such to troubleshoot network problems
