Senior Portfolio Manager
A major European banking institution seeks a Portfolio Manager to join the firm to assist in rationalising their non- performing loans portfolio.
The firm continues to play a significant role in the European debt market and has successfully run-down its non-performing loan book significantly through innovative sales to distressed investors and careful management of the portfolio.
The NPL team manages the portfolio in restructurings, liquidations and collateral-value realisation strategies across all major global jurisdictions – European Real Estate and associated holdings make up a sizeable portion of the portfolio.
The Candidate
• University degree from a reputable University
• A second Western European language would be highly advantageous
• 8-10 years experience in debt restructuring, credit analysis and/or Real Estate MA
• Ability to structure, negotiate and implement Corporate, Real Estate Project Finance Restructurings
• Good knowledge of international legal systems/documentation, economics/accounting standards
• Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills to handle counterparties, bankers, advisors, lawyers etc.
